Editing & Proofreading

I have 13 years of experience working as an editor and proofreader, beginning with my High School newspaper and yearbook, moving onto the Occidental College newspaper and since then in a more professional capacity. During my work at the United Nations I edited numerous speeches and official documents for various delegates as well as during my various internships with NGOs. While in Sevilla, I edited a paper for a Doctoral candidate which ended up winning the 2005 Michael J. Sprinker Award for Cultural Studies and will be published in their Anthology. In 2006 I freelanced for the UNICEF headquarters in Ankara as well as larger book/dissertation projects in need of editing, and worked a copy-editor for The Turkish Daily News, one of Turkey’s only English-language daily newspapers.

I specialise in copy-editing and the editing of papers written by non-native English speakers. Feel free to email me using the form at the bottom of the page if you have any questions or need a first-rate editor at bargain prices.
