The Love Letter Project started in Sevilla, Spain in 2005. At the time, each Love Letter was written on a free postcard, the likes of which could be found in pretty much every bar or restaurant. Then in 2006 I moved to Granada and the free postcards were, alas!, nowhere to be found. So, I started writing imaginary Love Letters in a blog and continued dedicating them to whom or whatever took my fancy. Now, living in Prague, I find the free postcards everywhere, but that hasn’t stopped me from continuing with my cyber Love Letter Project. Some of the Love Letters found here were indeed written by hand first, but by now most of them exist only in Netspace.
In 2009 I revamped the Project once again and I’ve begun sending out Love Letters using a postcard collection I’ve amassed since I was a child. I’ll be photographing them before I send each one, so be sure and check back to see what’s new on that front.
To see the collection, click on the link in the category cloud to the right and then click through to each love letter individually. Enjoy!
Hello! Since I’ve put in a bit of time in the past hour or so reading through your blog articles, I decided I would drop a brief note in your blog guestbook to say hey. I am really into what you have here with your web log and I hope you stick with your writing. That’s pretty much all from my end, hope you have a great July!
