They come from the deep,
Through hollow trees, abandoned wells they creep
Up to the surface of Prague’s streets.
Muscular bodies, bowed claw hands,
No eyes to speak of, but a mouthful of fangs,
Sonar-powered senses, uninterested in meat
Stone-eating Terrabiters on the prowl for their next treat.

The Secret Life of Stone is a photography series that explores the wishes, hopes and memories of Prague’s statues as well as imaginary histories of Prague. The series is also related to the upcoming third installment to Sezin’s first novel, American Monsters.
